By the way, is it normal for the ball to curve when making changes of front?I mean, when the ball crossed from one side of the court to the other, it took a very sharp curve forward.
I spotted the cause and it will be solved in the next release 👍Yeah, same here. It does look weird.
This thing about the ref never happened to me.I think it is a "standard" behaviour of the game (I've seen it in both FC 24 and FC 25), but I also noticed it:
Despite this, I think that the positives of this gameplay highly outnumber (and outweigh) the little annoyances that are still left from the default gameplay, and the ones that have been introduced (like the referee taking some seconds more than expected before calling for a foul).
After some early testing, I’ve discovered that the raw animation system has been completely reworked in FC26 to prioritize responsiveness. Most of the overshoot animations and transitions have been trimmed away. As a result, when you change direction, there’s no organic blending anymore, which is the main reason movement feels choppy and floaty.Your gameplay was very good, now that the project has finished on ea fc 25 will you migrate to ea fc 26? I would really like to be able to play your gameplay on fc 26 too
This is an important point: without those raw animation assets, it doesn’t matter much if you tweak inertia, weight, or acceleration curves. You can slow movement down, but it will still feel choppy because the blending foundation is gone.
However the new Fifa Editor Tool update does bring XML import support, which at least allows me to partially automate the migration process. I’ll experiment with it. But I can already say this: transferring the exact same values from FC25 into FC26 won’t reproduce the same feel because its current animation system simply doesn’t support it.
Also doing a proper gameplay modding requires a lot of fine tuning. At the moment, Live Editor does not support gameplay lua scripts (which allows you to tweak things "live") . Without it you are required to restart the game each time you adjust something which basically a torture and make it almost impossible to adjust values with the precision required to provide a high quality and balanced gameplay.
You can put some pressure on Aranatku if you want as he seems to have no idea about how important is it for gameplay modding.
