Good UEFA Cup run, bro! There is no shame to losing to the Giallorossi (heartbreak for Ian Wright, who could've been the hero). I know that sometimes Penalty Shootouts can feel like a game of dice! I am sure you'll be back next season, and this gives you a chance to focus more on the league! :)

Thanks my friend! Yeah, third round is not bad at all, I'll take it. The bench is thin and injuries aren't helping. This team isn't ready for four competitions... yet 😉

Even though it's been a challenging stretch of the season after the Roma result, I'm sure that Arsene has some good plans for the winter transfer window! It'll be interesting to see if Arsenal can catch Anelka, and also some immediate transfers to shore up the team in the face of injuries.. Ensuring Europe for next year should be the priority! (I don't quite remember what the exact qualification criteria was back in the 90's)..

Yeah, it's been a tough run lately. When the game doesn't want you to win, then you are not going to win 😆 To be honest, I'm not a big fan of winter transfers. If I ever do some, it will be two players, tops. The returns of Bould and Parlour will help on that regard. I chose to keep Merson and Hartson for this season and add Anelka in June, along with a lot of others.

Oh, I check the qualification criteria almost every day! The top two teams qualify for the Champions League, the 3rd, 4th and 5th (plus the League Cup winners) reach the UEFA Cup, and the FA Cup winners reach the Cup Winners' Cup (which was discontinued after 98-99). CL will be difficult, Newcastle will be hard to beat.

FA Cup game coming tomorrow :SAL:
