he was not even online at that time. he took a break from editing. now he's back and i think he didn't see your message.
 
So I'm on the 4.0 + 4.1 FIX and the new Stadiums on this. And I know it sounds weird to do so - but I for instance play a 1997 Barcelona vs a 1997 Paris SG, now instead of playing at either Home Stadiums - I play on some other stadium. Result? The stadium loads but there is literally no turf. All the players are on this black shadow darkness but there is no grass?

Is this supposed to be how it is or is it a bug and how can I fix it? It's very annoying

Edit: Nevermind, I had accidentally thrown the Stadium folders into Game Folder instead of the data/sceneassets

My Personal opinion, at least when you play against the AI , is that on a Player Level yeah there is very little to no difference - but that's a developers thing so EAs fault. But , different teams play differently against you is something I have noticed. Just my personal opinion

AMD graphics card glitch with their modern GPU range, you can try an alternate d3d9.dll that has been shared in the Retro FIFA thread here as a possible solution (worked for some people here, but sadly didn’t for me with a 5500 XT), otherwise you are out of luck barring a GPU change to Nvidia.

I don't know if it's a coincidence, but it worked for me, I put the file in the game folder, I regenerated it with FILE MASTER and it worked. I have noticed that in the FIFASETUP folder there is an editable file, I have seen that the resolution was configured as 800x600, perhaps that could be it, I set it to 1920x1080. I have seen in some YouTube videos that the stands are very realistic and you can see flashes like FLASH from cameras, is there any interesting graphic mod? gameplay mod? THANK YOU
 
I have FIFA 14 original files and also Classic patch files and stadium pack files downloaded and extracted.

I have spent so many hours and had so many issues downloading/installing the patch, as the instructions aren't clear. I know it's just drag and drop and regenerate files and go but I tried it and it didn't work before. So before I do same again, I need someone to tell me exact steps to get the patch installed correctly.

Right now (after loads of issues), I have successfully downloaded and extracted Classic patch files 10.0 and Stadium Pack files 10.0. (I know there are updates, but 10.0 is fine) Then I have the FIFA 14 original game files on my PC and I have creation master 14, which I assume I use to regenerate files?

I have copied all the files in the Classic Patch folder named "Game" and overwritten all the files in the folder named Game in FIFA 14 original files.

I hope that's correct thing to do, and now I don't know what else to do. In Classic Patch folder there are rar files for different decades/databases. I only care about using 1990's database for now. With that in-mind, what is my next step?

Any help please from someone who has successfully installed FIFA 14 Classic Patch?

@Pagi84 You just need to unzip the 1990s zip and then overwrite the files again, each database is pretty large so I think they can only load one at a time. Sorry, I'm not at my computer to know for sure, but basically extracting files to the folder and/or overwriting the data folder should be enough, I don't believe you need to regenerate the game again.

Then, once you are in the game itself, go to the edit squads menu and reset the squads; this will pull in the new 1990s database and you should see the new teams again.

After extracting one after another and overwriting, (10.0, 10.1 and 10.2) you must also extract the decade you want to play and regenerate again with File Master, you must do this every time you want to change the decade
 
Can you advise me on any mod that improves graphic textures and gameplay? I don't know if the creators of this patch can create any ae
file or mod that can reorganize the groups of world championships or club competitions to make it more fun and not always face the same teams that were in the group at that time. always using the teams that made up that World Cup or European Cup
