Your favourite ISS/PES/WE/JL game per console

Hi,

I haven't found such a thread so I'm opening one.
The idea would be to share, for each specific console, what's your favourite PES (can be for very personal reason) and why.

One and only one shall be quoted for each console. :D

Here're mine :

SNES
ISS Deluxe : the other football games I played until then (Kick Off 3, FIFA or Soccer Shootout), felt really outdated from the moment I tried ISS Deluxe. This game had so many mode, incl. the "scenarii". Even if the players had fake names, they were really reconnaissable (Baggio, Ravanelli, ...). And having a dog as referee ? Come on, this was the cherry on the cake ahah.

PS1
ISS Pro 98 : this is the first ISS game I played on PS1 and, again, it relegated my until then favourite football game which was FIFA 98 Road to World Cup to 2nd division. The next iterations ISS Pro Evolution, PES, ... were probably better, but on this console, even today, ISS Pro 98 remains my favourite one. It was the one we played the most with the friends.

PS2
PES 2008 : it improved PES 6 everywhere it needed to make what I think is the best "overall" football game on the PS2. Also, the community mode was really nice, to keep track of all the fixtures with the friends. I could have said WE 2008 but PES 2008 provided me so much joy back in the days that I cannot just forget it because I've discovered 1 year ago that WE 2008 is an improved version ahah.

PS3
PES 2015 : the PES game I've played enough on that console to have a fair opinion are only PES 2009 and PES 2015 in fact. I found 2015 very good in terms of gameplay, content and a very nice soundtrack. For me, it might be the moment when PES started to slightly close the gap with FIFA who reached its peak with 2013 imho and then started to decline a little bit. I've also 2017 but haven't played it enough to have a fair opinion.

PC
PES 6 : simply because the 2008 is the new-gen. PES 6 on PC is still played a lot, is still so well supported by the community with all the patches, ... It's amazing for a sports game to be played for almost 20 years and probably for many more to come !

PS2
I can't choose between Pes5, Pes 2008 and We9le.
Each one has it own streghts and weakness. I would choose we9le for 1vs1 and Pes2008 for a master league.
Today I downloaded,and thanks god It works, We2008 (Japan) and i find it better than pes2008 in many ways except a.i.: i find the game way more easy than pes2008,there is less caothic pressing and It is a good thing,but overall a.i Is not good as pes one. I saw there is a 6th difficult level to unlock,so i Will keep playing to try it once i unlock It.

I hope to be able to try we8Le and we10le One day

Pes2013 even if i don't like It as PS2 games.

Ps4
I have only pes2017,2020,2021....they all sucks in my opinion but at least 2017 has a good a.i.
2021 Is the worst and one of the worst football game ever in my opinion.

So i am finally able to try original We10le ISO.
It's something between Pes6 and 2008 and i like it a lot, even more than pes2008 for now. But i have to play It more.

Yes before i did a fast Cup with low difficulty to earn some we points and unlock the max difficulty. We2008 is easier indeed. This makes me prefer pes2008 overall. What i found to be better on we2008 is control responsivness, shooting and less exaggerrated pressing.

I am playing we10le and i find out a very very good a.i in terms of midfield positioning. Something that Pes6 doesn't has at all.
Dribbling too has that pes2008 feature that makes u lose close control when u sprint and change direction with a not enough skilled player. I am loving It.
A.i Is really good on play possession too, but waste too much in terms of shooting.

After playing we10le i could say that this is my favorite PS2 game. Even if it has not the great Pes5/We9 physicalty,i find it overall a better game.
