Simply open RDBM 22, select "Open FIFA 17", then select the career save, in DB1 - go to career_users and navigate to the "seasoncount" column and change it to a lower value. I recommend to change this value back to 1 every single season. Changing at the end of 15 seasons should also work. Do NOT change it to 0, as that will crash the game.
I have also noticed in player career that the game might force you to retire despite changing the seasoncount value. I'm assuming this is just because of age or something. What you have to do each season additionally is to save your career file a day or two before a new season starts, open your career file in RDBM and go to the "players" table in DB2, then you have to set the value in column "isretiring" to 0(if it's not already) and you'll be able to continue for another season.
As you can see I'm in career mode in 2032, which should have ended at the end of 15 season in 2031:
