Wii Controls Question

Before anyone gets angry I haven't stolen the game, I have a copy from Lovefilm which doesn't come with a manual!

I don't have a classic controller but have been experimenting with using classic controls by turning the wiimote sideways. So far so good, but - stupid, frustrating and possibly ridiculous! - I can't work out how to shoot! What do I press to take a shot and why won't anything work? :?

Now I type this it sounds crazy but it's doing my head in - is there a controls list anywhere, in-game or online?

1 button + 2 button/swing remote......shot (power gauge and +control pad)
1 button + 2 button/swing remote.............first time shot
1 button + 2 button + B button...............chip shot high
1 button + 2 button + A button...............chip shot low
