Why was I awarded a draw in my stats when I lost in the penalty shoot-out?

In PES 2008 ofcourse I was Brazil playing vs someone with France it was 1-1 1st half and 2nd half then it still remained 1-1 till 1st and 2nd half of extra time.

Then it went into a penalty shoot-out my opponent won 6-5 at the end but neither did he got awarded the win nor did his rating increase. Same with me, my rating was 543-543 it didn't change, his rating was lower then mine with a 448 how comes he didn't earn the rating points ???

THIS IS REDICULOUS what was the point of the whole penalty shootout if the rating won't change????? and at the end statistics will be counted as a draw, absolutely PATHETIC!!!!

Matches decided by shootouts always enter the form book as a draw. After all, no team actually won or lost in normal time.
