Why have my game loading times increased?

hi all
proevo 09 has been working like a dream, but all of a sudden the game takes an ice age to load, when in game, going from strip selection to the pitch, the loading time has gone up to 5 mins, this also happens when saving the game.

Everything else on the PC works fine, no other games are effected, and after a complete drive defrag it is still no better.
i've copied the img files to a new hard drive and back again, but still the load times are 5 mins.

Any ideas chaps?

Dont know if you play online , but if you do not then try and

block pes.exe from attempting to connect to ports with your firewall.

update! problem solved, sort of
it seems to be the update of my virus scanner. closing my virus scanner didnt do anything, but after uninstalling it my pro evo was fine.
so, new virus scanner it is then
