Which non-Bundesliga clubs do German people support?

I have recently returned from a weekend trip to Dortmund. I saw quite a bit of support for Liverpool (perhaps because of Jurgen?), and some Manchester United shirts as well.

Are there any clubs in particular (outside of Germany) which have a special place in many German peoples' heart?
