Video of latest PES 2008 build

Hurrah, our first listen to the commentary! Jon Champion sounds very good - Lawro sounds utter pants ;) The production values seem as cack as ever though - doesn't flow like Fifa's commentary.
 
Speed still looks the same to me.

agreed twoodster. Commentary is not great but def. plays better than fifa.
 
Finally changed the commentary!!! From the video I noticed a lag between the audio and the video, so commentator reactions whould be slower than demonstrated here.

The game plays well and doesn't seem to differ much from the demo (which is certainly not always the case).
 
The Celtic kit isn't 100%, the colour is far to light and the arms are not right and if Celtic are supposed to be licensed ? the images of the players are not that good and that's the one's who are supposed look a bit like they should the others are nothing like the way they should look.

I suppose we can be thankful of the pic/gameface edit to fix this.
 
You mean faster reaction of the commentator right :D?

But i think he doesn´t sound that impressed when a goal is scored -.-

"Yes, it´s a Goal." instead of "Ohhh my God, what a brilliant Goal"

etc :(
 
The commentary is awful. Champion doesn't sound interested, Lawro is just abysmal, and there are still huge gaps of silence between every sentence when a goal is scored.
 
Agree Jazek! But I really like the option at halftime or after the game to have another go at the highlights. At least little improvement.
 
Grounds for another Fifa commentary patch me thinks!

Although that video is compressed quite a bit, and audio can sound like it's lagging behind!

We'll see anyway.

That commentary does sound awful! More natural than Peter Brackley perhaps, but that's kind of like saying Fanta is more natural than Coke! :)

Definitely, FIFA commentary all the way. Nack's FIFA patch was awesome for PES 6.

I'd say the pace does look a bit slower though, and they've ironed out jerky replays by the looks of it.
 
So is it just one person or a collection of idiots at Konami that said' "yeah the speed of the game looks really good."? Are you serious Konami?! The players look like lab rats running through a maze.

That was an absolute joke. Here's hoping for an editor to edit down the speed ratings for all the players

Wow, the pace of the game, in the video at least, looks horrendous, FIFA-like.

And Jon Champion = boring!!!
I really can't understand how can't the sound designers see this while they're recording the commentary.
