Turning Off Auto-Player Change

How do you do this? I can't find the option anywhere.

It makes it more difficult to track back, and it will constantly change player for no reason.

You change this on the player select screen. The same screen where you press left or right to move your cursor to the home or away team, you can also press Y (I believe, or maybe ) and move to the cursor part of the screen. There you will be able to change the speed of the automatic change, and also move it to "manual", "fix", "semi-fix" etc.
