The return of Pro evolution soccer

I know this has already been published thousands of times and I don't come here to cry, but the truth is that I can't stay silent. Today I want to talk about something we all miss: the return of PES!
It's true, EA SPORTS FC is here, eFootball
It's trying to carve out a niche just like UFL, but there's something about PES that just can't be replaced. Those of us who played it know that it was not just a complete game, but a unique experience that left its mark on all of us. And this is where you, the community, come in!!!
As consumers, we have a power that we often underestimate. We are the ones who play, the ones who invest our time and money, and the ones who keep this market turning. Therefore, I think the time has come to make OUR VOICE heard and ask for the return of PES. We don't do it out of simple nostalgia, but because we know that there is still room for this classic to shine again. Let's make our voices heard on networks, forums, and wherever we have a space. Let's remind companies that we are the ones who decide what we want to see in a game. It is not a complaint, but a legitimate request from those of us who love this game. If we unite, we can make a difference.
Thanks for listening to me

This is what Thousands of us think here on EvoWeb. But to be honest, Konami does give a shit on such Comments, cause they are only focused on Online Gaming with Handys. The good old PES Times are gone, you can not bring it back by a single Post. Konami is looking at EA's FIFA and their Success on Ultimate Team Shit. The Times when Companys were focused on selling Copies of their Games are over. They are focused on Online Gaming. We are the one to blame cause we are bying this shit Games (ok, i am not bying this Games). This is a Wave that is unstoppable. Offline Gaming is a Market not worth to put Money in. Just take a look what EA is gaining on FIFA 24 1,9 Billion Dollars with Online Content. You can't stop this.
All these new Football Games (UFL, 2K Sports FIFA) are so focused on Online and give a fuck on Offline Content, cause Offline doesn't generate Money. The only Way to fight back is to modifie PES 2021 to the Limit. Cause after 12 Years playing PES6 i found out that PES 2021 is the best Football Game.

I completely understand your point, and I share the frustration you feel. However, it is important to recognize that, in large part, it is us, the gamers, who are driving these trends. Companies can focus on online games and microtransactions, but They do it because it is what we consume. At the end of the day, we are the ones who have the last word.

It is true that Konami and other companies have changed their approach, but that does not mean that we have to settle for what they offer us. If we continue to support games that prioritize the online experience and microtransactions, that will be the path the industry will take. But if we decide, as a community, to focus on what we really value, like offline gaming or more traditional gaming experiences, we can make a difference.

Modifying PES 2021 is a way to take control and show that there is still a market and passion for the football of yesteryear. We are the ones who ultimately decide which games succeed and which do not. So, instead of resigning ourselves, let's use our power as a community to make it clear what we want. If we support each other, I'm not saying that PES is going to come back, but we are going to make clear what we want.

I think that you don't know how big this Community is, that is following this Online Content shit Games. We are these less than 1% that wants to have a Offline Game Experience like Master League and an Edit Mode. Guess why Konami never released this Things since PES 2022? Cause they do not generate Money. If you take a Look on Call of Duy or Battlefield. They all are so focused on Online Gaming. Offline is dead. Sad but true.

Yes, of course I know... the problem here is something else, it's difficult for all of us to agree and fight for the common good.

I am on your Side, but this is a Game we almost lost. The only Hope is that all European Countrys will follow the Belgian Way. To handle this Packs as Gambling. I can not describe how much i hate this Way Football is "growing". These Companys are taking too much Impact on how the League Structure is growing. Ok, this is a bit beside the Story you are telling, but it is the same Way Football is going down....

I still don't understand how there isn't a spin-off group of Konami that could work on it. 20+ years ago, we has PES & ISS. Why couldn't we have eFootball for online gamers, and PES for offline gamers. Not even a requirement to do much work. Take the UE from eFootball, add a few modes and animations and release it for a few like the season update went for. Let's say 50k people bought it, at around $10. Well, that's $500k. And that is WITH eFootball still running on the side.

You've seen what small teams here do with mods for the current games. It shouldn't take that big a team in Konami to launch it on the side. Doesn't even need to be called PES. Revive the old ISS name again or create something new, like Konami Classic Soccer or something.

Ideas like this are why I believe most games companies (although Konami in this case) are just really lazy and push out anything without effort to make the most money they possibly can

500K wouldn't even be a break even financially.

Office Space for the spin off group (which even if it is in the main office you have to take the costs for each working space into account), salaries, the 30 percent that the stores take, ads costs. This would be a loss.

So from a financial side the game would have to sell much more than 50k games.

That's why I don't believe it should be a spinoff game but a DLC to the current version. Because I believe way more people would be tempted to directly buy a DLC than an extra version. (2 games in a store of a same brand always can cannibalize).

Especially if they design it smart where a Master League could even bring in some bonuses for those who play their Card Game. (For example unlocking special cards in other modes)

That would get more of those players to try out the DLC which hopefully would lead to enough people buying the DLC so it is worth investing.

The problem is Konami has now let EA have the Offline Space/Career Mode space for so many years that their Master League would have to be really good.

But I still don't get Konami releasing a Master League DLC is such an obvious thing to do to try and get more players in the game so it is just weird that they don't do it.

Maybe Konami might release a proper football game after a decade or two. I mean they started making Metal Gear games after so many years. So they might find interest in making PES again as well. Here's some hope, not much, but some.

Friends, I propose to make noise, talk, express ourselves, we are many people who want the same thing, I did not come here to take out the calculator, I come here to seek support.
We can speak and remain silent, we already know very well how the market is going but what do we have to lose if we express ourselves massively (?)

I hope too in the return of Pes,but please not in the way they did with Fox engine.
Pes2014 had so much potential, totally wasted in the next iteration. I really don't want a pes2021 2.0, It is such a overrated game.
Konami must take the good from old PS2 Pes (a.i, players individuality, shooting, physicalty,Referee, responsivness) and develop in a modern football game. Pes2021 had nothing of these features, just a quite good looking game, with heavy feel, unresponsive controls, monodimensional A.i and variety of scenarios, horrible shooting and physicalty..and no impact of players stats on the pitch in the way they should
