the animation looks great, but am i right in think its just a controlled shot?

if it is its not that special!
 
pressing shoot then, pressing R2 on the ps2 pad, or black button on xbox pad, whilst the shot bar is showing, easy to pull off with practice and very effective with shot in and around the area, as they go on target more often that a normal shot.

no the player doesnt make it shoot like that it probably just random all be it fantastic animation, the level of skill in the goal isnt very high.

A much better goal for me is when a player strings a nice passing move together leading to creating a nice clear cut chance. much more skill involved in playing good football to score. just my opinion.
