I am on my third season about 10 games in. Changed most of the first x11 from the starting squad now.

I am trying to build a team full of english players.

Suprising players that are better than i thought, Lescott, Reo Cooker and Jerome. Lescott has turned into a solid, pacey defender with high body balanced. He has surpassed his development sheet and is still improving. Not sure how this is possible but still, the same with Jerome and he keeps getting better despite already past his peak at 22.


I have been trying and failing to sign peter crouch to link up with becks ever since the first season to no avail. However my team pop is nearly at A so i may be able to sign him in the transfer window.

Picked up Gary Neville on a free after he was released by man utd.

Formation = 5-4-1-1
Offside trap and line = B B

After making a legendary team of star names in PES 5, I went for a solid and completely unbreakable team this time - no star names! (ok, maybe a few)

Strongest 11:
GK - Wolf
CB - I Chol Yon
CB - Jackson
CB - Kompany
RB - Cafu
LB - Nathan Ashton
CMF - Merino
LMF - Diego/Arda Turan
RMF - Shimizu (crazy assist maker - over 120)
AMF - Lee Chun Soo (unstoppable - 317 goals so far, and he's 37)
CF - Khumalo/Ronaldo

Commonly used subs:
AMF - K. Nakamura
GK - Buffon
CB - Ivan Cordoba
CF - Pato


I'm in season 2018, and I've won everything, but I can't sustain the D1 Cup strangely...

Tactics (teeny tip): When you go in front, you'll find the other team to change the attack/defence stance to the red bar. Instead of defending, I'll try to increase how much we'll attack as their back line would be exposed, plus I have five defenders so there's no chance of being caught on the break. Then sit back and watch how the AI tries to CHEAT to win...:)

Lol spot on mate. The ai does cheat, however that is an interesting formation and tactic. I tend to play my formation on the green setting, unless i go a goal down then i switch to red. For the last 15-20 minutes, if i am winning ill change to green mentality and play counter attack.
