Something is doing my head in and it is a question about a former Man City player.

Who was the guy who played on the wing for City a couple of years ago...a black guy with dreadlocks and good technique?

Anyone....can't remember his name and it is getting on my tits.

Nice one appreicated....I can rest easy now :)

Always annoying when you have a name on the tio of your tongue, but just got get it

Didn't Ashley Cole foul him by pulling his hair?

Kiki is having a trial with sunderland atm.

Keano, in his infinite knowledge, is hopeful they'll be no work-permit problems. He mustn't realise Kiki is Dutch!

I was suprised when he disapeared from you team as I though he looked a good player...maybe I did not see enough of your games though and something wasn't right?

He was decent enough going forward, but offered little in defence. Pearce was very defense minded, so Kiki didn't really fit. Same with Riera.

Yup.

Musampa was in many ways a similar player to the Spaniard, Albert Riera actually. They played the same position, had pretty much the same strengths and sweet left-foot and even the same weaknesses. Main one being 'inconsistency' and of course not helping out the defense was a down-side too.

Kiki is past his best now but Albert Riera has turned into a really quality player over the past year or so and at only 25 years old, is a dangerous attacking player now.

He couldn't settle in France with Bordeaux so was loaned out to Man City and despite showing some glimpses of quality, was not successful there either.

But I think his time in those 2 foreign countries helped him anyway because upon returning to Spain this time with Espanyol (He started at Mallorca before going to France), he's a new player and has improved so much. We always knew he had potential since his early days as a youth in Mallorca. It was a question of whether he can fulfill it and after a few disappointing seasons with a couple different clubs, it wasn't looking promising. But a move back home and to Espanyol has paid off immensely and rejuvenated his career.

His confidence, mentality and determination which were some of his weaknesses is now at a good level. His weaker foot (right) has improved and he's no longer inconsistent. In fact, you can bet on him to create some dangerous moments for opposition defense in nearly every match Espanyol plays now.

Bordeaux and Man City never managed to get the best out of him but Espanyol got a great deal on him and his value has risen considerably now.

Anyway, not that Man City has to worry about that. Now they have been attracting players of a high caliber and league like Martin Petrov. Unfortunately for English people and EPL fans, Martin gave his best to Wolfsburg where he was undoubtedly one of the world's very best left wing-forwards. Extremely dangerous. Night-mare for any defender. He's not quite as sharp, agile, fast or great as he used to be and confidence isn't as high as it was either after an unsuccessful period at Atletico.

BUT, he's still one hell of a player and will be one of the most dangerous in EPL at his position.

Therefore, Martin is sadly past his best as well :| like the Dutch leftie. But of course, they are players of a different 'league' of class. So even at this stage, Petrov is better than Kiki was even in his prime which was probably his time at Malaga.
