hey everyone, I already play pro evo 5 on the ps2 but I am considering getting the pc version to play online.

how easy is it to download a patc from this site and install it?

I know absolutely nothing about patching and this is my only worry.

It depends. If you have no computer usage skills at all, PS2 patches are defintely easier to apply 'cause usually they come in 1 PPF file, just patch and burn.
The PC version might be a bit more complicated, but the possibilities of editing are bigger, as you can change things you can't in the PS2 version, that being f.e. stadiums, modified faces (3d model), use an external program for kits, etc.

It would be also good to see and consider your computer's graphics card. It it's a cheap one, PES will defintely feel better on the PlayStation (well, it always does anyway, specially on the gameplay). But you just want the PC version for the online challenge, maybe it's not that important, though if it's a really crappy one it may also affect your performance during the online play.

Ooookay hope that's enough.

thanks for the help but its a laptop im using

1.5 ghz 256mb ram

doesn't say anthing about a graphics card

your gonna need a dedicated graphics card, rarther than the rubbish integrated stuff that gets lumped into laptops.

cheers, so is there a graphics card you would recommend?
