slowdown on PES6

I recently upgraded my pc with 1.4 GB of RAM and a ATI Radeon x1950 Pro graphics card. After i installed it, PES6 plays very slow and i experience this slowdown from the Main Menu onwards.
I also have PES2008 which runs fine on my pc which doesnt malke sense and all my other gamaes that require more power run better than pes6.
I presume it has something to do with my new card and maybe the settings it's on.
Has anyone had similar problems with the x1950 card?

tried them still no luck, i also tried the omega drivers too.
Its like the game is running slow and buffering. I mean if i play a match for a while the game is slow and jerky but eventually becomes playable after a few minutes but still has the odd slowdown from now and again.

Mine's slowing down a bit too. I have a e6300 dual core, 1gb ram and an ATIx1650. I have the LOD mixer settings at default.

It used to be okay, but I just re-installed it after a bit of a meltdown and now have a problem.
