Rip PES 2009

Can anyone tell me please which files I have to delete from the PES2009 dvd so as only the english language to remain?

And whether there any other files I can rip..

But...why? And Why is the title "Rip PES 2009" ?

EDIT: ah, because you want to rip out content...it is very easy to read it as Rest In Peace PES2009. That would be a more normal post in here!
 
Because I want to make a backup dvd so as not to use the original one all the time and I want to use a single layer dvd..


If there is a more suitable title let me know and I will fix it..
 
I think you could safely leave out ~2Gb of files on the DVD here:
DVD:\program files\KONAMI\Pro Evolution Soccer 2009\img\

Keep rs0e_e.img and get rid of the other rs0e_f/i/s/g files. The others are the commentary in different languages.

That's a start. But you still need your original DVD to play, of course, so you might be wasting your time. You can't just backup the DVD with its protection so easily, and we are not to talk about the possibility of work-arounds here. In fact this thread will probably get locked as soon as a moderator sees it..

Why don't you use a no-dvd EXE ?

P.S: Can i talk about that here ?
I think a no-dvd EXE isnt piracy when you have the original game...

Apart from rs0e_f/i/s/g files can I delete other files? Like intros and movies... If the answer is yes, do you which are the files?

Sorry mate, I always use a no-DVD exe mainly for speeding up the loading of the games and to avoid switching dvd's i dont associate that with piracy.
i did read the Sticky but it didnt talked about no-DVD or cracked exe's so i asked...

You're free to do whatever you like as long as it stays in your own four walls. This still doesn't make it legal, though, even though I'm aware of the advantages these things could provide.

Regarding the sticky, it clearly mentions No-DVD cracks in the title AND the topic itself. We don't allow discussing any of these on our boards, let alone requesting/posting them.

Anyway, I'm gonna close this thread now as I think it hopefully includes enough information to help the guy who created it. Cheers!
