Where the hell has this guy been lately ? Hiding in a cave or something. I remember he promised to deliver a new footie game called Soccer 3, later re-named to Total Control Football. He said this game will put PES&FIFA to sleep. That's all I remember.:CONFUSE:

Dini was working with DC studios personnel on site at Bristol on the abortive soccer game code-named "Soccer 3" and later called Total Control Football until the summer of 2005. Dini has since worked as a contractor together with other companies on a government funded project. He is currently a lecturer at the IGAD programme of NHTV Breda University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands, teaching Game Programming.

Sensi was a shitty arcade game compared to Kickoff2.

He's on facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and at dinodini.com. He started a fan page on facebook to see if anyone wants a new game from him, as he's been known to do from time to time. It will probably amount to nothing, as usual.

Yeah far preferred Kick Off, Goal.

One of my favs was Road to Europe Kick Off, absolute class games.

Although have played on one of those simulator things not so long ago and it pales in comparison to the games now.

Although the enjoyment me and my friends had with these games was unmatched.

Sensi was far superior, KO was too fast which led to much kick and rush. With Sensi, you could put your foot on the ball a bit more and as you could see more of the pitch, pick your passes with more accuracy.

That said, Player Manager is one of my all time fave games and despite the short-comings (IMO) of the KO engine, it was still a great time sucker.

Hate to think of the hours that went into the various Sensi/SWOS games though. Where did all those free hours go when you 'grow up'? :(

It's like comparing PES at its height (3 or 4 on PS2) against Fifa of the same period, Sensi had the ball glued to the feet, silly ball physics, limited ways to play football, in KO the ball was free, was realistic in the way it approached the game of football in terms of passing/shooting/tackling, SWOS only won overall because of its insanely good and in depth manager mode.

Agreed, PM2 is one of the best footballing memories I have from 25 years of playing football games.

Silly bastard, it was "The Manager" i used to play with my brothers.

I used to love all the old manager games,Football Director 2 was quality. My mate had an Amiga game called The Double with a 2D match engine, I remember he used to sit through every 90 Minute match in real-time.

Yep, footy director was amazing, as was the Double. Also liked a game called On the Bench although that was Speccy days.
