Problem with GamingAccess patch v3

Hi guys.

Every time I run the game, it always freezes up on the loading screen of the first match. After lots of Ctrl-Alt-Delete, Alt-tab and so on, it unfreezes and goes to the match. After the first match, it's usually ok, but can anyone tell me why this is happening? Has anyone else had this problem and if so, how did you sort it?

I have installed all the other GamingAccess patches in order.

well, your problem is really unique, totally unheard of. i've got one suggestion, but a far-fetched one indeed.

Do you play in full screen mode by any chance? if so, try windowed mode instead and see what happens.

What this solution was for, i really can't remember. somewhere i read, although long time ago that ga patch wasn't working properly in full screen mode, or at least you had to start the game in windowed mode anyway...

If you play offline try blocking your GCP2009.exe with your firewall

so it cant make any internet connections.

This worked for me, and also solves the bloody annoying Konami adboards

appearing as well.

Thanks, that's definitely worth a try.
