Playing PES5 PC/WE9 PC in 720p?

I connect my HD-TV to my computer when i play pes5 or we9lek. I have to play 1024*768, otherwise the game won't show on the TV. However, before I formatted my computer i was able to select 1280*768 which fits my TV much better. I don't know why i can't do that now. I remember doing something with a program calle Ultramon, but I can't remember what and I have tried all Ultramon settings without any luck.

Is there a way to set the resolution to 720p? With or without an external program?
