What's the best way to play PES online nowadays?

I used to love playing it over the net, but it seems with all the problems faced with the latest version and how it seems so shit online, how are people getting their fix?

It was cack online when I tried it on the PS3... PS2 is toilet online... is Xbox 360 as bad?

How are people playing it? Or are well resigned to just playing it offline?
 
PES6 on the PC played well online for me,

Forget about PES2008 altogether!, unless by some miracle Konami release a new patch that fixes it.
