Playing patched disc help

Yep, another help thread by me. ;)

I'm using the swap magic disc to do it but it says my patched disc is 'not a valid ps2 disc'. This is after I've put the swap disc and loaded it then swapped this discs with the slide tool.

I've used a DVD-RW which I think might be the case.

Am I right or is it something else?
