Playing online with Superpatch/Evolution Patch?

Is it possible to still play online if you have one of these patches installed?

Not entirely true. For online play, only the rosters and statistics of players will revert back to original settings. The rest...stadiums, uniforms, ad-boards, appearences, team emblems e.t.c, e.t.c...will all be updated to superpatch.

Everything works perfect online only player statics change back to normal
