I found this whilst browsing so thought I'll post it in case it proves useful for those (like me) who are still pondering which console to get. The list is quite old (2005) so there may be a few mistakes - I wasn't arsed to find a list for the Wii though.

It'll be great if you can add any other exclusive titles that'll strengthen PS3/360/Wii's portfolio ;)

Saints Row is coming to the PS3 I heard. And there is a few titles in the 360 thread which appeared on PS2 and other consoles. I would still be sceptical of the MGS4 coming to the 360, maybe a remix at a later date a la MGS2: Substance.
 
what i've heard is several people are getting impatient with Sony with delays, etc. therefore they're losing a lot of exclusives because people are just moving over to the 360... so i wouldn't be surprised if a lot of the exclusives are lost

I'm so glad to read this thread because there isn't a single title I've seen so far that I've really wanted either console for. Don't get me wrong, Gears Of War is great but I'm sure there will be something equally as good on PS3, and Formula 1 looks great but I don't mind sticking with Forza Motorsport 2.

Now if only I didn't want a Wii...
 
From the list, it's clear to see the target audience of each - so in a way, this whole next gen war is irrelevant as you'll buy the console which have the most titles which interest you.

I think, however, the Wii is perfect as a second console. Nintendo have played a very wise game this time round.
 
Plus there will be the official WRC game on the PS3, and PSP too I guess, so does that count?

Does anyone have any news on the WipEout franchise?

Also what about the game Eight Days I think? Or has it been renamed?

Ninty may of looked like they have played a good hand, and months after launch they are still difficult to get, but there is nothing on the Wii that I can see, oh fuck yeah, I need it now. There will never be a decent racer on the machine, and bar Wii Sports / Play as a social gaming experiment, I think the machine is really lacking already.
 
Test Drive Unlimited will come out for PS3 I have heard as well. Plus dont forget Formula 1 CE is a PS3 exclusive.

I heard Dead Rising is also likely to hit the PS3 too at some stage.

Forza is an Xbox 360 Exclusive too.

Cross Platform: Dont Forget Virtua Tennis 3 and Virtua Fighter 5 are both coming out on 360 and PS3.

Read a developer interview last week that said the same thing, it ws gonna be a ps3 exclusive game, however financially it just wasnt worth it because of the installed base for the ps3 so they added a 360 version. Understandable

The title that basically made the PS2 a reality cause it shifted so many PSX's, the title that made gaming cool, fair enough WipeEout Fusion weren't the series at its very best, but it was alot of fun, and Pure was decent too.
