PES2011- Top Player Level

I used to play PES games at the highest level but really PES2011 is the most difficult. It is extremely difficult to manage a shot at goal ( not to say it is impossible but there are just too few chances in the game where one really have the time to adjust and take a shot). Most of my goals came from headers. In PES2010, chances are aplenty even at the top level. Secondly it is very difficult to dribble at the Top Level. More than often than not, before one can do the fancy twist and turn chances is that there will be defender blocking your path. I am not saying that PES2011 is not realistic. It is just that the new controls are found wanting at the top level. Now I have reverted to playing at the Professional Level. At least I have more shots at goal and can do my fancy twist and turns. I find that the Professional level is more reflective of the real game. What do you think?

I've started a new Master League with Scunthorpe (using Arsneal 4 life's championship patch) on top player and I was promoted in the first season, now in the Premier league in contention for a place in Europe. I've had no problem scoring goals at either level, and I can't dribble for toffee but that's because I don't have any decent dribblers.

What game modes are you using, and what teams?

Also, do you dribble with L1 (trick button), R2 (close control) or R1 (sprint button)?

I use PESVN version 3.2.with Sheffield United. Dribbling was not a problem for me from previous edition but PES2011 is really really tough. Despite my poor scoring rate (Expert Level) I still managed to bring Sheffield United to Division 1. I have beaten Chelsea & M.U by solitary goals but I am still languishing at no 10. In previous edition, you can qualify for Europe after finishing at no 10 but not PES2011. I finished at no 10 last season but still no Europe. No Europe, I think you can forget about buying Torres, Messi or Drogba as these are really fussy players. The Expert Level is stressing me out due to new controls which has failed to perform consistently . Despite the fact that I have in my squad 4 good classic players in Platini, Bergkamp, Caniggia & Law I have yet to score a goal through dribbling. I used r1 and r2 alot. Recently just out of curio, I started playing the professional level after watching some videos from Youtube and the thrills are back. It much more fun playing the professional level as it more true to life.
At least I can have a better chance of dribbling past defenders. These videos could not possibly be done at the Expert Level. Check this out

Believe that this is done at the Professional Level.
In Expert Level, if your controller is not working fast enough it is difficult to create such opportunities.

whenever i played top player level, it seems the AI knows all my movements before my players do so, I think this is the non sense point for top player, so I will only play professional, sorry for my poor english.

I totally agree. When running down the wing and you halt to a stop and turn in the opposite direction the opposition has already turned with you, its like they know before you what your going to do. It must be set in there ai to turn when you do.

Haha! I thought in was going crazy. But hearing the same thing from you guys just confirms it. Hopefully they will come up with better "top player" concept in PES2012.
