PES2010 - PC - News & Rumours thread

i think that a good pc can have a lot better graphics than a ps3 ... and konami should do... i don't know extra-high details or something to get the best from pes2010 anyway i think this is impossible.
i was playing pes2009 with full details, resolution forced from kitserver config... and game was running with no lag... i need more so i can see that my pc is not good enough :)) :D
and i think a pc with 2gb of ram is very cheap ... if u have 1 gb of ram.. and don't want to buy one more ... i think you don't like pes enough...

childish approach...

how stupid can you be not to know that 32bit versions of windows can hanlde only 2gb of ram?

Actually you are wrong. 32 bit os can't handle 4 gb but can handle up to 3.25gb, maybe slightly more depending on the amount of memory the gfx has.

Anyway we are slowing moving towards 64 bit. All versions of win 7 will ship with both the 32 bit and 64 bit discs.

well i don't think 32bit win xp can handle more than 2gb of ram... maybe vista...

A quick google search and you'll see plenty of people reporting 3.25gb in xp 32 bit.

This is entirely normal and to be expected. It is a fundamental limitation of a 32-bit operating system that it cannot physically address anything more than 4GB RAM (which takes all 32 bits to address). But, in that 4GB address space, all RAM on peripheral interface cards also has to be mapped so that it can be addressed too. In particular, all the RAM on the video graphics card has to be mapped into the 4GB address space. Where peripheral interface RAM has been mapped into the 4GB address space, main system RAM cannot be used.

The more on-board RAM your graphics card has, the less system RAM you can use.

You might drop down to almost only two I guess if you have a graphics card with a lot of onboard RAM?

PES 2010 to have true 360 degrees.

Its been long rumored in other forums that PES 360 got more perfection than FIFA 10 on PC. As I am a PC player I will speak in terms of what the PC has to offer. 360 degrees in FIFA 10 PC is abysmal as described by most of the users on the FIFA 10 PC forums. Now I found this, is this possible in Fifa 10 PC demo?

PC is more smoother running, graphics are better and it just seems more enjoyable
PS3/360 seems slowish and not smooth, kind of ... jumps abit, graphics are not as powerful and it just seems crap

Its about the same actually. Its running smooth on consoles as well as the PC(if you meet the requirements).

But if you have good hardware in yer PC, you can push the graphics to a higher level of detail. And add the fact that in PC we can do plenty of things we can't on the consoles.(kitserver, etc)

Seriously PES 2009 is more smooth and better than the FIFA 10 PC demo.
I feel like PES 2010 will win anyway due to various problems in the FIFA 10 PC demo.

has anyone heard from Juce? (Possibly most important news regarding PES2010)

I really hope he'll come back with Stadium Server for PES 2010 (not fussed about kitserver).

Can anyone, preferably a Konami person (if they ever read this forum) clear a few things up for me?

1. ML, has it still got 'game over' if you get fired/run out of money? I really hate that.

2. Have proper aerial battles (which disappeared in PES 09) been re implemented?

3. How many leagues will be in the ML? Just the same old A-D rubbish, or some actual leagues? PES has got six leagues hasn't it, so why can't they all be in the ML?

4. Any chance of lower leagues?
