pes2008 ps2 playing online on PS3

I just got the ps2 version of pes2008, and im playing it on my PS3,
but it seems that the online fucntion is not working on the PS3,
has anyone els noticed this?
I tested on the online mode on PS2 and works fine.
I just want to know if anyone els could play the ps2 version on ps3 online.

even though pes6 on the ps2 is way better then pes2008 on ps2
i just bought a ps3 but buying pes2008? hell no!

That's strange, it worked for me on my PS3. I did have to re-register with a whole new password though. Try that.

anyone else has the image chopped on the sides? I mean, the original image being too big for the screen, with some of it being left out of the screen?

Try adjusting the PS3 screen settings.
