PES12 Online regionalized?

Hello everyone,

I saw some video review about PES12 where the guys said online play was going to be regionalized this year to avoid lag. Is it true?
I live in Spain and I only want to buy the game to play with my friend that lives in the USA!

can anyone confirm this?
and also if this is true, would there be any way to get past this limitation like using a proxy server, hamachi, or some other way?
 
At PC there are no restictions...about consoles i do not have any clue. At least i do see the US servers and ive played against some southamericans in quickmatch.
 
Yeah I'm only talking about the PC version, not console.

also could anyone else confirm this please?
 
Yeah I've played people from USA and Europe even though I'm not there.

And I've got the Italian digital download version, which has all the languages and commentary anyway.
