PES 2011... What IDIOT changed the camera view in penalties???

Hello, fellas.

I'm founding really annoying, when I'm winning a penalty shot.
In PES 2010 (as far as I can remember), when you won a penalty, the camera was CHANGING and you could see your player from behind, so you could AIM the damn shot!
Now... the camera's not moving! HOW in the hell am I suppose to aim the damn ball into the net?
Even when I just pressed the button JUST A BIT WITHOUT moving the cersors' keys (I left the player completely standing still), the ball didn't went at least to the center, but WAY UP HIGH!

Any idea how to improve my penalty shots? ALL OF THEM (so far) went out - far away from the goalposts.

penalty shots are extremely easy to perform even if it seems to be difficult at first.

go to training mode and get a feeling for it, also use the d-pad

That didn't happened in PES 2010.

in pes2010 the penalties during the match (not the shootout) had the same camera view !!!

use the d-pad. if you are playing to the right the controls are as follows:
up = left side
down = right side
left = chip shot
right = normal shot

press or tap the shoot button to make the player move. now press up or down for the direction you want to shoot - as longer you press the button as much it will go into this direction and maybe miss the goal.
after adjusting the direction you have to adjust the height of th shot. therefore press left or right. here it's the same: the longer you press the button the shot will hit higher or miss the goal. first just tab the button to check what happens.

both actions have to be finished while the player is moving to the pnealty-spot. TRY it in training mode (free-kicks and move the ball into the box)

the individual skillz of the players effect penalties as well !!!

if you come to a shoot out the controls are:
up = normal shot
down = chip shot
left = left side
right = right side

i hope that helps. sorry, but i am not that good to explain this in english very well.... :D
 
I said, I don't REMEMBER if it was in PES 2010; maybe it was in 2009.
But, since I'm not using d-pad (but keys), I can't understand how to do the damn shots in penalties.

Thxs, "jerry" mate; but my main problem is... I'm using ONLY keyboard, nothing else. I bought a Logitech d-pad but I can't play with it! Any idea how to shot penalties WITH THE KEYBOARD?
 
I tried in Training Mode (with keyboard), I made about... 20 penalty shots... and NONE of them went in the net, no matter what I did!!!!!!
Obviously, every new version of PES (PC), they're trying to make it as much as MORE CONSOLE GAME, so you need a gamepad.
But, I'm really-really REALLY can't play with a gamepad.
 
Okay... I think I FOUND how to score a damn penalty - with keyboard!
I pressed the "W" key (signed for sprint) and kept it pressed all the time, I pressed the "D" (shot) and then, I just tap for 1/5 sec one of the "<- ->" cersor's buttons; and I made the goal. But aiming on the top corners of the goalpost..., NOT yet, I didn't found how to.
 
facepalm/doublefacepalm or not, I made the goals in lower corners of the net, but still can't find the way to score on upper corners.
 
the height should also be adjusted by the control buttons (left, right, down, up >> like i mentioned above)...
as i only play the ps3 version i have no clue if this is not working properly with the keyboard....
 
Your initial question was what idiot changed the camera view in penalties...well i've done a fair bit of research, i've questioned some soureces at Konami towers and the guy who changed the camera view is named Takehashi Shimasura. There is a rumour that he was strongly influenced by Roy Hodgson...i'm not sure that that last bit is true however...but on the other hand isn't everyting Roy's fault at the moment?
 
gerd, that wasn't even close to identify it as... humor.
Anyways, yes, the first question was about the camera in penalties (which is so STUPID, not facing infront the damn nets, when you shooting), but the other problem is, when you're playing (in PC) with keyboards, it's very-very hard to score from the penalty spot.

It wasn't exactly meant as humour...i wanted to give an appropriate reaction to your over the top title for this thread.

But i shouldn't have done that: i'm sorry. I was wrong. It wasn't an appropriate reaction.
 
as i wrote it already somewhere else, pro evo tries to simulate the tv view with the whole game
there is no other penalty view during a real match on tv as the one in pes

maybe in epl but i dont watch epl :P
 
Anyways, fellas... I'm STILL LOOSING a lot of penalties in ML - which is VERY vital, when you're back in score by 0-1 and you're getting a penalty in 90' and... you're LOOSING IT!

Honestly, I'm really-really REALLY need a tutorial how to shooting penalties BY KEYBOARD! I can't score, mates. In 20 penalties, I'm scoring the... 3-5 of them! That's 1/7 from them!!! I'm sure, you're scoring at least with 80% of success...
That's the MOST annoying thing, from 2010... but now, it's SOOO WORST! KONAMI "may think" we like PS (consoles) games and we're using pad, but... this is a BLOODY PC version and yes, there are quite some "old-school" players like me, STILL like/using the damn keyboards!

(I'm using keyboard from my first "ancient" computer, a COMMODORE64. Since then, I learned with keyboards and even if I spended about 200+ pounds in pads/joystics, I left them aside and I'm still using my fingers on the keyboard...)

So, PLEASE... If someone can help me, PLEASE learn me how to score the damn penalties by keyboard controls.

In BAL I've missed 2 penalties , 1 I just tabbed shoot - run up I press down with the analog stick - Boot as it sails 4-5ft over the bar - next penalty - same thing - tab shoot but this time I press down on the DPad and still went flying over the bar.

Look, cursot on keyboard are the same thing as d-pad(arrows) on gamepad. So, when you have penalty, you tap your shoot button(A, D or any other you set) just a little. Longer you hold shoot button higher the ball will go. Than when player started his run you have to chose where you want to put the ball. You do this by pressing up or down cursor key on keyboard. When you press up, ball will go in side of goal which is up on your screen. If you press down cursor key ball will go to the side of goal which is down on your screen. Again, longer you hold up or down button ball will go closer to the post. If you hold it too long it will go out of goal. After you did this you can choose strenght of your shoot. If you do nothing here it is ok, I also shoot like that. If you want to have very strong shoot just press cursor button to the side on which goal is. If you want chip shoot just press cursor key in opposite direction of goal. Also, don't press the buttons too long. It is quite simple, but controls are very sensitive so it would be best if you go to training mode and practice penalties until you get feeling for them.

Well... you helped, but still is VERY difficult to score.
I don't know... In former/older versions, the penalty shooting was extremely easy; now, extremely hard, with TOO many buttons combination.
 
well, those buttons which determine if it will be chip or strong shoot are not "need to do". You can just press shoot button and than cursor button to choose side of goal where you want your shoot to go.
