no, since PES2009, the freekick system is broken. always press /\ and put a defender to guard the net. you'll never concede a goal from free kick.
why press /\? because it makes keeper run to the near side, but ACCIDENTALLY (or in purpose?) konami erase the "change direction" feature that can trick the keeper
why put a defender right in front of the net? because konami never had a football consultant and that nullifies the offside trap strategy
