Pes 2009 PC control problem with the Right Analogue stick

I'm wondering if anyone else plays the PC version with a USB joypad and has a problem with the right analogue stick working?

When I go into settings and test all the buttons on the pad they all show as highlighting at the right time. However, when I play the game, the right stick doesn't do anything. I tried to alter in game settings of the controls to try different types but that doesn't solve the problem.

I read on another thread that someone had downloaded a programme called 'controlMK' that allows you to map a USB joypad to key contorls. I used this for Pes 2008, but again, this isn't working for PES2009.

I'm sure there must be loads of people playing on a pc that use a USB Joypad and have the right stick working to do tricks etc.

Can anyone help?

You cant do tricks with the right analogue stick now.

Konami have moved tricks to the left one or the d-pad.

The right stick is used for manual passing.

Wonderful Konami ay?? Something that has worked so well on the right stick for years and everyone was used to, they decided to EVOLUTIONISE it to the left stick and/or d-pad...

that change was bad, i wish it would have been the same. I was used one way and this time I gave myself goals with my goalkeeper. :(
 
Never realised. Feel stupod I posted this now. I'm going to have a re-look at this left control stick idea. It does seem stupid to take that function away. I thought it was the best set-up too.

Just swap your left and right analogue stick in the settings.exe, then use the d-pad to move your player, and R2+Right Analogue to do tricks ?
 
YES You can do tricks with the right sticks, just go in the settings menu , in game, then controller menu, in the last page you see "type 2" for tricks control , just put it on "type 1" for the old controls...the control settings never changed for all pes games, i play on type 2 for years...
