PES 2009 is absolutely RUBBISH!

What a terrible game. 2-3 months ago I uninstalled it because I got angry that the game began to lag online and I lost online.

Yesterday I installed it again played it and today it makes me angry again. I forgot how angering this game is. What a CRAP that is :CURSE: I tried to snap the PES 2009 CD in half.

Players play like robots. And its a real cheat online to see players moving and passing over my defenders in a zig-zag motion. So if one of the strikers like Robinho or Ronaldinho starts running zig-zag diagonally you can't tackle the player! He runs past defanders and bang its a goal! What a disgrace PES 2009 is. I just played 2 games of PES 2009 and exploded from anger. It is a real lottery.

All day for 6-7 hours I have been play FIFA 09 and how calm I am never get that angry and always love playing it there's more skill and tricks. Especially with the live season update. Players running like Fish moving from left to right its pathetic! You can't tackle. When shooting often goes way high up.:RANT:

I am surprised that I don't see so many hatred threads in this forum for PES 2009.
Cos really I loved PES 6! It was the best PES game ever. And also PES 5 but PES 2008 and 2009 are total disgrace. In my opinion PES 2008 is even better than PES 2009!:SNACK:

FIFA09 online is executed much better than PES09, too bad the game just overall feels sluggish with the weird player movement etc.

I already play FIFA 09 PC and thoroughly enjoy it! No lag online, extremely rarely I get lag, no problems such, the shooting accuracy is better. Free kicks are easier to score. PES 2009 is just nerve racking. I always thought PES was better than FIFA and certainly PES 5 and 6 were better than FIFA no doubt about it!
But PES 2009 is just not a PES game anymore it's like a different footy game.

Man I wished PES 2009 was PES 6 with just updated graphics would've been ton times betters!

I have to say thank you for supporting FIFA09 PC....which is basically FIFA08 with a bit of graphical upgrade....This support is good for FIFA since it may open EAs eyes to not completely abandon the PC platform and release a NG FIFA10....
Sadly for me Im between a last gen PES2009 and the last gen old same FIFA09....Lets hope that we get an actual game of football next year...
 
omfg... those players look like silly robots... now i know that both 2009 soccer games suck (i never saw fifa 09 graphics) how awful is the gameplay? it must be either better (to fight with pes) or just as atrocious as pes2009...
2009, certainly not the year for foorball games..

This is not the real FIFA 09 graphics. The graphics in that video is edited by a patch.
The gameplay of FIFA 09 is much better than PES 2009 but inferior compared to PES 5 and 6!

The problem with FIFA PC is that it has same old pathetic PS2/XBOX engine.....now only if we had NG fifa on PC that would be a game to drool over.
 
read the last topic i started. funnily enough i just gave pes09 a second chance and played online. my record was won 60 lost 14, pld a russian guy who won 14 lost 24. kinda guessed im better. beat him 6-1. we play again.. he picks man utd. what else can i say. rio ferdinand, park ji sung, ronaldo... the finest tacklers that ever graced football. according to pes09. this games absolutely shit, online or offline u control ur fucking players for about 60% of the game. im absolutely fucking apalled that people can come out with this fucking game and made me pay £30 for it. i can honestly say i will never buy another one of these games again. pes died at the age of 6. its now known as simply 'shit.'

Then it comes people, possibly bored and without porn to see, and go to the OTHER forum saying "PES/FIFA is rubbish/crap/horrible/a long list of etc."
Just to generate controversy and feel a bit happy...
I used to play FIFA a lot, more than PES, now I've change to PES for some basic things that any fool can see.
1- FIFA Engine is the same from FIFA 06 onwars (told by EA) so that engine was and IS crap. The last good FIFA was 2005
2- Since FIFA 07 I just simple cannot play the game without constant lagging and choppiness, and I mean OFFLINE. The game simply starts to get choppy just like that, without reason, and dont come babbling about PC Specs since my PC is way beyond the requirements and LOTS of people have the same problem. I was shocked when someone said once "The problem is that your PC is so powerfull that cannot run FIFA". Poor guy...
Anyway...
Play whatever you want to, at the end of the day, they are just games.
The only thing I miss from FIFA are the licensed teams.

Yeah but isnt it strange that while PES is bashed on PES forums, it is praised on FIFA forums? The only sane thing as it seems is that FIFA09PC is not praised anywhere... :D
 
Well, being angry about something may arise a little bias in my opinion. So, if I spent a year waiting for a game, with all the hype and all the high expectations, and then my hopes got somehow "betrayed" by the game when it's released, I'd surely find it difficult even to enjoy the "good" parts of such game..

That's why FIFA fans reacted bad towards FIFA, and PES fans reacted bad towards PES.. And that's why (I guess) FIFA fans tend to see the good things in PES and vice versa..

Since we all know that FIFA was always behind PES last gen....now since FIFA09PC is last gen game normally its worst than PES2009....i guess thats why while PES is praised on the FIFA09PC forums....FIFA09PC is not praised anywhere....
 
I cant believe anyone think FIFA09 PC is better then PES09!
The gameplay is terrible in every aspect!
It lacks everything that make a football game playable.

Still believe PES09 has the far best gameplay and ball physic, even if FIFA09 360/PS3 looks a lot better in player movements, smoothness, ball recieptions, and all that.
In PES09 no goal looks the same and certaint situations on pitch (build ups, counters, crossings) never looks or behave the same.
The AI actually have variations in attacking and game build ups looks lot more realistic then FIFA.

Sadly it still misses the great pitch atmosphere, good commentating, realistic game physics, slower and more realistic game speed and so on.
Licenses doesnt bother me, just make it mod friendly so we could add 1000s league in one OF, stadiums, kits, commentators and more, withouth even relinking!
 
F09PC is as shite as Arsenal. Just...absolutely...rubbish. In comparison, PES 09 PC is utterly brilliant. How my standards for a "goody footy game" have changed...
