PES 2008 PC REVIEW + VIDEO

Sounds really great!
Can't wait for the release anymore:P

Yes everything looks great, just wish the commentators would say team names, then I could use my fifa samples.

But it looks like I can't unless we find away to flag which team has the ball at the time, or even just capture which teams come up at the start of the match. The rest is pretty solid, and the structure is better than pes6, just the script is crap.

Commentary certainly sounds better!!

I don't like it at all actually, sounds fake and they never get excited when someone scores and its often unsynced as in the previous games it seems from what I've seen

and i really dont like the net in the goals hanging like that, should be a tight square like in PES 6 and most goals in real life aswell, but the rest of the game looks pretty good though I think this game will take most adjustment and time to get used to so far in the series, especially with the weird shooting and stuff ive seen in the demo

OMG... where is Peter Barkley?!?!? the commentary sure sucks... i guess the comentator is not really a football enthusiast...oh well... another thing that sucks is how the players control the ball... that ball sure sticks to their legs like it's glued or something... i guess konami got something from EA this year... hope they have a license for that... hehehe... i'm also glat to see that they fixed the ball dynamics and it's good to see the good ol team geist in action... hate that blue ball from the demo... i also see that players are still skating a bit... i guess i wont have to buy nhl this year.
but i guess i'll buy this year's game as well... just to get a big laugh... i can always play PES5 when i get sick of this ...'simulation'.

dont agree with that at all.
The game looks a lot better then the demo. Runnig animations are better at least. The gamespeeds still looks a little fast to me.
Commentary has always sucked so nothing new there.

I'll be buying the game as well, but not to have a laugh. This game will be great playing against your mates.
I also look forward to playing this online against some ppls which i have played against since PES5. Ppl from which i know they play football and dont lag.

Really looking forward to the game!!!!

Commentary in the video sucks. It's much better to turn it off and wait for the FIFA Commentary patch :) Thanks NACK22 in advance :D

Okay my quote was a bit vague, I meant the commentary sounds better than before! For 4 years we have had the same crap commentary from Trevor and Peter, I was really tired of it. I know its not the best, but certainly makes a difference from previous years, that's what I meant. Plus I am probably the few people that find Lawro funny in real life. He probably rubbish ingame but always good to hear a different voice than Trevor!
