PES 2008 1 vs 1 online

If you haven't read about this already, PES 2008 will AGAIN only feature 1 vs 1 online, where as FIFA now has 5 vs 5! This is an absolute joke to be honest. Just wondering what your thoughts on it were? me personally this is a big problem but i will still obviously buy the game and sadly i will try FIFA this year (probably take it back a week later but the fact im trying it is bad enough as i;ve never done it before apart from last year after PES6 on 360.

its difficult enough to get a decent game with 1 other person let alone 9 other people.

games would just turn into a mess with most people chasing the ball. people quitting etc...

and ..... you want to play 5 v 5 on fifa?

cmon now ... dont be silly .... 1 v 1 would be bad enough
 
i didn't want 5 on 5, i can see that being a lag fest however i really just wanted 2 on 2 on PES 2008. I would of prefered they sorted 2 on 2 out then use this camera thing. wow i can put myself in the game! just doesn't interest me.
 
Neither mind one on one what about Multiplayer master league.

I would love to take on other players wether online or offline in a master league - could you imagine a few players having a team each say in the premiership then battling it out to see who will be the champion?

Konami should now make the masterleague next-gen
 
You know what I'd like? A game that's GOOD. The 360 version was such an awful step backwards for the series. Having 2 v 2 or 11 v 11 isn't going to make the game better if it's still the same as last year.
 
Playmania must be unable to count then. Konami have confirmed 1 vs 1 for all formats.

agree, it can take an age to get 2v2 ready to play, how long would it take to get 5v5? sort the lag out first before adding more players
 
as long as there are no dedicated servers, they will never sort out the lag. some of you need to learn a bit more about networking..
