Pc Game pad problem can someone help

I got on to the servers for once tonight, but now i have another problem. In single player mode i set my Logitec Dual action pad for R1 to be the Dash button. Problem is when i play online it uses the R2 button. Why is this and is there anyway of changing it for online play to R1.
