I just started playing online.

My offline game is brilliant. Graphics are awesome. and I don't have any issues in response times, but during online mode, my response time is horrible. Does everyone face the same problem? or is it because of the lag caused by bad connections?
 
What color connections are you playing against? If red then that's probably why. Although it's very playable against a red connection, there'll be some delay with the buttons. Try to find an opponent with green or at least yellow connection and see if the problem persists.
