PC Online Play - I hate it when guys quit coz they losing!!!

Hi Guys,

This has been bugging me for quite a while now, and I feel i need to say something about this. I am sure many of us who appreciate playing a good online football match also takes defeat gracefully and are not sore losers.

It annoys me when guys quit coz they are losing terribly or getting a hiding, and the worst part of it all, especially on the master league online system, it registers as an abandoned match and you get no monetary bonus at the end. This is one area that totally sucks on the online play.

My most recent experience was when i was playing a D1 ranked player from Serbia and I am ranked in D4. The dude had Real Madrid and a superstar squad, Kaka, ronaldo, messi, xavi, etc, and i have a budget squad that reflects D4/D5 status...lol. I basically schooled him in the 1st half and had a 3 - 0 lead at Half Time.

What do you think this punk does at Half time? he disconnects...and i get communications with user lost..and lose out on all the cash. I mean, it annoys me when guys cant lose gracefully, if thats the case..dont play the game. Not my fault you suck so badly even though you have the best squad available. Generally, if i play a D1 ranked player, and by virtue of being D4, losing usually earns your around 200 - 300k transfer funds boost. I would imagine beating a D1 ranked player would boost your transfer funds atleast by double that amount.

Anyone else have any similar experiences that you would like to rant about and share? Heck, if i am losing, even if its a hiding, i dont quit..i play the game thru and try to learn from my defeats...
 
Always had probs with cheats but now it seems everyone does it.

None more so then CENTURION who is from Serbia. Also P7

Played him at least 5 times, was winning on every occasion then
in the last 5 minutes match abandoned.

Sadly he's not alone and it is absolutely killing online play.
Its up to Konami to fix it or else its just another nail in their coffin.


ps. How the hell do they do it, i've had disconnects due to bad lag but these guys
are able to do it manually while on a good connection!!!

That's the magic of peer-to-peer gaming :/ - clog your upload bandwidth by starting to upload something large enough and voila ... soon enough peer-to-peer connection between the two of you will be terminated.

PES simply needs dedicated servers. With proper dedicated servers that kind of cheesing would backfire into their own asses
 
so..who do we complain to about issues like this seeing as they dont even have proper official forums for PES 2011?

Just happened to me again, and its getting annoying at the amount of sore losers out there....is that how they got up to such "HIGH" statuses?
 
Thanks dude for that bit of info...i was thinking the same, seeing as he seems to be the most accessible Konami person associated with PES 2011...

he will definately hear from me...lol....i noticed he has a feedback email as well on his profile....nice.
 
"The match will be abandoned as play cannot continue due to unforeseen circumstances" I receive this message for 1 day, I didn't receive this before. I was alright. I tried everything reseted my internet conection, I don't have a router, i changed the drivers for network card, everything. What to do? PLS HELP!!
 
derexpert from pc's biggest cheaters I played him,, shouted at him in formation screen, then he quit with match abandoned message.. but I got 500.000!!! And me team is 100+mill so imagine what his team looks like.

well guys i hope they have fixed it..i just noticed now that there is another new patch that is being released today (21st!!!). according to the Konami portal site, it is as follows:

looks like it should be available after the server maintenance. If the problem is fixed up to prevent these cheaters from benefitting..then i will be very very happy...as it has cost me atleast a minimum of 1.5 - 2 million atleast in lost revenues for my team that could have helped upgrade my squad....and not to mention the points that would have probably put me up in D3 by now...with my budget squad..lol

I guess those quitters cant handle being beaten by an underdog side compared to their big name squads...i mean one dude was such a bad loser, he quit in the first few minutes immediately when i took the lead!
 
FIXED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you konami, great suprise! Now the ranking going to be real.

EDIT: The funny thing is some stupid quitters did not realized yet tha they lost points if they quit from the match :D

LOL LOL. I know. Some people tried it and it backfired on them ;)
 
well, played a d1 child and in the 89th minute it happens the same, due to bad connection bla bla bla 0 points 0 money
 
its getting even more worse from day to day ...it is unplayable already when you are D2 or D1, almost everyone is doing it, except the lower leagues cause they need the money...this mode is totally crap from now on. Sad but true.

I think the most people play on PS3 so its not possible to quit there without getting punished...but Konami is leaving the few PC Online players alone...sad sad...it could be such a nice mode..
