Old timer trying to get back, few questions..about which PES is the most updated/played today.

I've been absent from gaming for several years now. I am a huge fan of PES 5 & WE9LE but these PS2 titles have aged and some things just need to be left alone.

Both Konami/EA in my opinion are permanently done making a decent football game. So for PES and even FIFA fans, what PES game has the biggest community ? I was assuming PES 17 and 2021.

For those two games I'm thinking buying a gaming pc. Seems like everyone is on the 17 & 2021 wagon ?

I think the biggest communities are PES6 and PES20/21.
