I missed out on PES5 on PC due to my joypad breaking and I couldn't be bothered to get a new one. PES4 and PES3 ran perfect when I had them

Is the graphics card I have good enough?

Other specs are:
P4 3.4Hz
512MB ;) I will upgrade this hopefully.

I play the game on Nvidia Geforce MX 440 which is only a 64mb card

and have no problems. 1280 x 1024 high quality.

Monitor refresh rate 60 Hertz.

i dont believe that.

i tried to play PES5 and pes4 on 1280x1024 on high quality with a 9600pro 256mb (i know the game doesnt entirely depend on the vram) and it lagged quite a bit. just managed to run it on 1024x768 high quality flawlessly.

as for the op.

short answer : yes

enough. I also have ge-force 6600. but it has only 128 mb. but I can play pes6 with 1280x768 resolution, high, and AA/AF on. Of course, there are no slowdowns, no stuttering.

i have exactly 6600 256 and no lag...at high resolution and quality...but i see a line....as if would break the stadium...just some times...on mx440 at the other computer that line isn't anymore

You dont have to believe it Pal , but its true.I aint telling no porkies here, I was posting for the benefit of the community.
Using 3d analyse I have never had any of the graphic issues lots of people seem to have, and have used same set up right through PES5 and now PES6.
I play on a Samsung SyncMaster 913N Monitor.

yeah it runs good with Ge-Force vgas ... but have some problem with AMD ones ...
I had problems with my GF 6600 with PES5,
high quality meant slowdowns!!!!
probably due to AMD? dunno... maybe ATi controller instead of nforce.

Now I have 7950GT... another world :)
