I noticed this new driver update, but after installing PES stutters like mad. Anyone else having this problem? Had to uninstall it and re-install my older driver, what a pain!

Just installed the new Nvidia driver , runs fine.
Try changing your monitor refresh rate to 70 hertz.

Yeah I had this problem too, infact I posted about it about a couple of months ago about me having poor performance with PES 2008 and the newer drivers do cause poorer performance. People who have powerful graphics cards don't notice this because their cards are so good that the drivers don't affect them badly.
But people like myself who have slightly weaker cards like the 8600GT the newer drivers cut by 6 FPS on average.
Therefore I urge everyone who's got similar nvidia cards like my 8600GT to use older drivers because they perform better.
The best old driver for 8600GT is driver version: 7.15.11.7519

My monitor only refreshes at 60 or 75 hertz. I've got a 9800GTX, so can't be a card issue.
