Alan Wake yesterday, RDR, ModNation and Split/Second next week, Blur the week after?!

Got a bit of credit at Game, but may have to look at trading in some of my 'biggie' games to cover the coming weeks :(

Red Dead is the only real must-buy out of those, you need to learn to control yourself ;)

Alan Wake (rent), Read Dead (buy).

Blur and Split Second are shite, seriously poor (leave, rent at most).

Always liked the look of ModNation and though it looks like its got some niggles, I'm sure they'll be patched up. If I wait to get it, I'll definitely lose interest.

Red-Dead has the longevity, Alan Wake I could probably take-or-leave - but I thought at least one of the racers (probably Blur) would be decent?

Why's Blur so bad MJ?

Frightens me paying £40 for games now after sampling some of the low cost delights on the iPad!

RDR = GOTY.
AW = grotesquely overrated, extremely boring, linear, tedious, repetitive, ageing technology, 2-3 years too late, mocap's awesome though.

Blur: I played a BETA and tbh it's just a fancy Mario Kart. I'm not a fan of the handling of the cars either, they all feel the same. Gets boring after a few races.

Split second: Nothing new. Burnout does it so much better.
