Need help for Ps2 Online play

hey guys...i got the ps2 version of PES2008..and i recently tried to play online...and it connected, verified that dnas thing and got to the page for login or registration...so i went to register but it returns a "communcation error" message...are teh srvers down or something else is wrong? ive tried for a few days and same deal goes...
