ML Stats in match mode

Just wondering if the stat improvments in your master league are represented in match mode. I noticed this last night playing my mates master league team with mine. If they arent is there anyway to change it?.

I think all that saves if your squad lineup and formation. Players' progression doesn't pull through into match mode.
