Missing players since last live update?

Has anyone else noticed that players seem to have been randomly removed from the game in the last live update? One I've noticed is Cedric Soares of Arsenal. He seems to have been removed despite still playing for the club. Some players, such as Angelino of Man City, have been replaced with default player faces but with the correct stats.

Anyone else noticed this? Very frustrating as I want to start a Master League.
