Master league newcomers wages are only 1!?!? using SP3.0...

I played ML all the way until Negotiatons. Found out that all Newcomers except 2 (one was from Japan another from Korea) all had wages of 1. This severely killed the game for me. All the AI teams picked up those players, and I was able to release my entire team, hire only 1's and get some superstars.

I have SP 3.0 only
I was wondering how I could fix this
Please help!
 
Ye it's a really annoying bug of SP3.0
That's one of the reasons i uninstalled is, and just used Watson's option file.
