Mapping on PES 6

Hi all, has anyone had any issues with the left direction on their analog sticks on an 8BitDo Ultimate Controller (or any other controller for that matter) on PES6 on PC? Trying to map the direction but it doesn't register when I go to select it on settings.exe. The left directions work in general because I've tested them on other games and on properties, but when it comes to mapping on PES settings.exe I'm stumped. Any got any solutions?
