You will have to enable it in the menu of player settings.
Then for an example the opponent comes close to your keeper or a 1 on 1 situation then you can press L1 + Triangle then the player cursor connects to your keeper and you can move him then. if you want to dive just walk towards the ball/opponent and press on X.
