Major problem loading master league

I have an ML with Inter Milan going well but suddenly whenever i go to load the master league i get a blank white image where the Inter logo should be, and upon trying to load it the game just closes down completely.

any help would be great because i dont want to lose my progress

the same thing has now happened to my other ML with AC milan as well. this is getting ridiculous
