Due for release mid-November, the free download is designed to enhance the playing experience for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Windows PC users.

It adds improved goalkeeper performance, removes the stuttering effect during running, makes small adjustments to the penalty and free-kick systems, and fixes some small bugs that have been reported.

Changes have also been made to the structure of the Game Plan menu, making them easier to navigate and use.

The update is in response to user feedback, and reaffirms KONAMI’s commitment to improving PES 2012.

 
If they get back to 1.0 and REALLY improve GKS then i think most players would be happy

Thanks Hawke. I was sceptical about a November update but I now stand corrected.

I wish they'd fix the bloody over officious refs and their stupid idea of an advantage rule. :R1

Can't say i've had too any issues concerning referees since release. PES2011 they were a joke. This year i think they get at least 90% of decisions correct. Apart from the odd time when i have automatically switched player when trying to cross the ball and a player out of screen has hacked someone down and got red carded but thats more of a player switching issue.

Yes! - the ball can have traveled quite a distance before the ref calls a stop.

I would hope that the goalkeeper fix will make them better at parrys 1v1s, corners and free kicks from outside the box. I would rather superhuman keepers to the ones we have now.

There is nothing so disheartening as losing in the final seconds due to a gigantic goalie cock-up. It happens too much.

Also online I could have sworn that some games were scripted, as there is often a glut of goals at the end (and not due to fatigue).
 
hope thei put more lobbies in ML online. in the PC version there is only 1 competion at each 3 hours...so poor.
Also renaming your team in ML online after you have coppied an team design would be nice( should have been natural).
